HAROON *THE MAN BEHIND THE VOICE*

Haroon Rashid the performer, artist, Musician, recording engineer, composer and amazing live performer has left an unforgetable mark on the Pakistani pop music industry. 
He is a black hair brown eyed talented performer who loves what he does. 
 
Family ties: 
Haroon was born in London England on May 11th to a Pakistani Father and New Zealander Mother. He has 2 brothers, 1 sister, and some pets. 
 
Growing Up: 
When Haroon was growing up he always loved music, after all it was in his blood (His mother was a opera singer in New Zealand.) He took a lot of interest in music while a child. He got his first guitar at the age of 13 and formed his 1st band at the age of 15! The determined kid made an effort to keep his studies along with his passion for music. 
Haroon first went towards his peruse to study. After high school in England he came to the United States for college. After studying and getting his degree BBA Finance in George Washington University in Washington Dc the nations capitol he went home with large dreams. 

Rock N’ Roll: 
Haroon then formed a band with some friends and called it “Awaz”. The band grew to be one of the most successful bands in Pakistani music. Later on after many albums and great hits Awaz had gone their separate ways. But that wasn’t the end of Haroon! 
 
Flying Solo: 
Haroon came back to the music scene in the year 2000 with his turbo charged album “Haroon ki Awaz” After many great hits such as Yara, Chan vergay, Pyareya, Jeekay Dehka, and many more Haroon went on to be the prince of Asian Pop. In the year 2002 Haroon then released his album “Lagan” after his handwork, dedication, and determination. The album has hit it big, selling more than 200,000 units worldwide and keeps selling. 

Prince Of our Hearts: 
Apart from it all Haroon remains Friendly, kind, thoughtful, and soft-spoken. 
He has been a role model and inspiration for many and never lets his fans down. 
His dance numbers leave us in aw while his music makes us sing along but at the end of the day Haroon still remains the same normal Haroon who loves reading. Playing sports, hanging out with his near and dear, and just enjoying what he does. He is a funny personality who is very charming and also admits to making a great cup of tea! This is Haroon, a voice to be truly heard!
